Our programs are approved by national and international aviation authorities, including GCAA and EASA, and are accredited by AHA, ICAO, and ACI for specialized training courses. At EAT, we take pride in delivering high-quality training.
GCAA Approvals
The UAE General Civil Aviation Authority certifies Etihad Aviation Training as an Approved Training Organisation. EAT is certified as a CAR-ORA training organisation with the privilege to provide CAR-FCL training courses, including the use of FSTDs.
GCAA has also certified EAT to operate as an approved Cabin Crew Training Organisation in accordance with the operational manual and UAE Civil Aviation Regulations.
EASA Approvals
The European Union Aviation Safety Agency certifies EAT as a Part-ORA certified training organization with the privilege to provide Part-FCL training courses, including the use of FTSDs, as listed in the attached training course approval.

Other National Aviation Authority Approvals
EAT has successfully obtained approvals from various foreign entities, showcasing our commitment to meeting international standards. These certifications include EAT being an Approved Training Organization from key aviation authorities such as General Authority of Civil Aviation – Saudi Arabia (GACA), Civil Aviation Authority – Uganda (UCAA), Directorate General of Civil Aviation – India (DGCA) and Civil Aviation Department – Hong Kong (HKCAD).
The approval process from these aviation bodies involved evaluations of our training programs, facilities, and overall compliance with industry standards.

ACI-Accredited Training
Etihad Aviation Training offers airport training programs accredited by Airports Council International (ACI), reflecting our alignment with global best practices in airport operations and management.
ICAO-Certified Training
Etihad Aviation Training is proud to offer select courses that are recognized by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), affirming our commitment to global standards in aviation education.
ADPHC Approval
EAT has successfully obtained the approval certificate for our Occupational Safety and Health Management System (OSHMS) from ADPHC. This certification attests to our unwavering commitment to meeting and exceeding the standards set by the center for occupational safety and health.
The OSHMS approval process involved a comprehensive evaluation of our safety policies, procedures, and practices. It confirms that EAT has met the criteria set by the centre. This accomplishment is a result of our continuous efforts to prioritize occupational safety and health, integrating them seamlessly into our daily operations.
AHA Accreditation
We’re proud to have been an accredited AHA International Training Centre since 2019. That means we’re able to offer the AHA Heartsaver®, Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) First Aid course to make sure that your business is compliant with OSHAD requirements.
ACTVET Accreditation
Etihad Aviation Training has been granted the approval of ACTVET to become a licensed training provider to offer National Qualifications.
Aviation Training Provider of the Year - 2023 & 2024
Etihad Aviation Training has won the title of "Aviation Training Provider of the Year 2023 and 2024" at Aviator Middles East Awards and Aviation Achievement Awards.
The category acknowledges outstanding efforts in influencing the workforce of the aviation industry through learning initiatives and training.

Best New Supplier 2024
We are thrilled to announce that Cathay Pacific has awarded Etihad Aviation Training (EAT) as the Best New Supplier at their 2024 Supplier Awards. Since January 2024, our partnership has grown from A350 initial type training to include B777 and Cabin Crew training. Cathay praised EAT's high-quality training and exceptional commitment, noting, “EAT has gone above and beyond, providing excellent support and flexibility, even at short notice.” We look forward to continuing to uphold the highest standards in training and service.
